General

Thanks to Apicart, you don't have to create and maintain your shopping system and administration. You won't have to program a shopping module for the web, mobile app, or waste time on implementing microtransactions into games. All you have to do is connect to our API and that's all. We also have prepared SDK for the PHP and Javascript, that will simplify the integration even more.

Apicart can be used wherever you need to sell something. It can be used for creating an e-commerce website, for microtransactions and sales integration into mobile and desktop applications or games, or you can just connect to our API to sell tickets for concerts. Usage depends just on your imagination.

Yes. Apicart is suitable for smaller projects with less products and orders and also for large projects with thousands of orders per month. At the same time, it is easy to transform the code to your needs and scale it, so you don't need to worry about refactoring or complicated maintenance. There are alrmost zero dependencies.

You pay for what you really use. We don't force you into prepaid and limited programs. You can use all Apicart products and do not have to pay anything (unless you exceed the free usage limits...). If you use Apicart on a web or in an application that is not being used, you pay nothing. You pay for "writing requests" into our API. For example, for requests such as "creating an order" or "adding a product into the cart". There is no charge for "reading requests" as "get payment methods".

You own all the data: All the data sent into the Apicart or that are created during the shopping processes of your customers are yours. You can get them all easily via API.
Zero dependencies: Since you are communicating with us over API, the only dependency is the SDK or nothing. You don't need to install large and complex systems that need to be maintained and updated.
Security: We use JSON files to keep products information (such as price) valid. For example, our competitionon gets information from elements data attributes. Because of that, everyone can change for example the mentioned price as he wants. They are trying to fix it by verifing the price by another requests to your website or to the app. That solution is slow and it unnecessarily burdens the system. We use json files that a potential attacker cannot change. Our solution is also much more faster and flexible than those solutions our competitionnon uses.
Price: You pay for what you use. No prepaid and limited programs. If you use Apicart on a website or in an app that is not used, you pay nothing. Otherwise you pay as you grow.

Shopping cart and shopping process via API

Shopping process and cart process via API allows you to create en e-commerce or saling application with minimal programming. Instead of programming a shopping process, administration or installing large, complex and complicated systems, you just need to connect to our API and that's all. After connecting to our API all you need to do is configure products and you can start selling.

You can create and configure products in our administration and also in your own project. You just need to provide us the address from which we can download the product JSON file.

It is because of the data integrity.

Yes. It is possible to enable multiple url addresses in the administration from which your product JSON files can be downloaded. By default, only the apicart.net and the apicart.dev domains are enabled.

We do not provide this feature yet.

Shure thing. You can use both Javascript and PHP libraries to integrate shopping cart into your favorite CMS.

Yes, the Javascript SDK is compatible with all frameworks. Just add a script that will load the SDK into the page and thats all.
